The Dallas Cowboys are in the midst of a six-game winning streak and the consistent play of wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has been a major reason why. The second-year pro has recently been dealing with a sprained ankle injury, but the team did receive some good news on that front Sunday morning.
Lamb will play against the Denver Broncos in Week 9. He suffered the injury during practice on Wednesday and was limited in his participation for the rest of the week. However, he is ready to go and will look to keep his momentum heading in the right direction .
CeeDee Lamb Injury Update
Lamb has been a crucial part of the Dallas passing attack so far this season and has quickly become one of quarterback Dak Prescott's favorite targets. In fact, the former Oklahoma standout leads the Cowboys in targets (57), receptions (39) and receiving yards (609).
It's notable to point out that Lamb has been especially effective over his last three games. The 22-year-old has hauled in 19 receptions for 345 yards and 3 touchdowns during that span. His ability to run crisp slant routes down low or get open deep down the field has been on full display.
The Cowboys will look to stay in first place in the NFC East and know that staying healthy is one of the most important parts of the sport. They head into a matchup against the Broncos as 9.5-point home favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
