Christian Kirk had some breakout moments last season, but he was never able to put it all together, finishing as fantasy's WR38 in PPR formats. Still, he's likely set to be the No. 2 option on one of the league's most exciting young offenses. That gives Kirk some legitimate upside.

He looks like a real low-risk, high-reward pick ahead of the 2020 fantasy football season.

Christian Kirk Fantasy Football Outlook

Kirk currently has an average draft position (ADP) of WR38, according to FantasyPros. That means he's essentially being drafted to do exactly what he did last season. But there's plenty of reason to believe he'll improve in 2020.

For one, he missed 3 games in 2019 and was actually the WR32 on a per-game basis. If he maintains his production over a full 16-game campaign then he's already offering some slight value.

Plus, he probably should've been ever better than he was last season. Kirk's production almost entirely came from receptions and yards, as he scored just 3 touchdowns. That's likely to increase.

Last season, only two wide receivers (Kirk and Robert Woods) saw at least 105 targets and caught more than 65 balls while scoring 3 or fewer touchdowns. He's due for some positive regression there, as is Kyler Murray, who had the league's sixth-lowest TD percentage (3.7) among qualified passers.

DeAndre Hopkins will likely soak up some of Kirk's volume, but his addition should make this offense a lot more dynamic. With a potential year two leap from Murray, Kirk should be able to make up for that drop in volume with a huge spike in efficiency.

At his current ADP of WR38, Kirk is an absolute bargain. We have him at No. 100 overall in our 2020 fantasy football rankings.
