Seattle Seahawks lead running back Chris Carson hasn't played since suffering a foot injury in Week 7. But thankfully for both the Seahawks' offense and Carson's fantasy managers, it looks like the 26-year-old will be able to play in Week 12.
Assuming he's recovered from that injury, Carson should immediately return to being a rock-solid RB1 in PPR formats.
Chris Carson Fantasy Outlook
Before going down in Week 7, Carson was the RB8 in PPR formats through his five healthy appearances. He owes most of his success to his improvement as a pass-catcher, turning 4.6 targets into 4.2 catches for 28.0 yards per contest with 3 TDs in five games.
That's a notable improvement on the 3.1 targets for 2.5 catches and 17.7 receiving yards per game he averaged in 2019. He scored 2 receiving TDs through 15 appearances as well.
With upcoming matchups against teams like the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants and New York Jets, there's no reason to think Carson's production will fall off down the stretch in 2020 now that he's healthy.
