The Kansas City Chiefs have a ton of players to thank for their Super Bowl this past February. With free agency in full swing, though, some of those contributors are bound to move on to new teams.

Such is the case with safety Juan Thornhill, who's signing with the Cleveland Browns after spending his four NFL seasons in KC. The Chiefs tweeted out a classy goodbye to the defender Wednesday evening.

Kansas City's Twitter account called Thornhill the "Juan and only" in its send-off to the 2019 second-round pick. Their tweet was also accompanied by a rather emotional video that recaps all of the big plays the safety was a part of during his Chiefs tenure.

Thornhill's time in KC certainly won't be something he ever forgets. He played 65 games (with 52 starts) over four seasons, and walks away with two rings to show for it.

Thornhill unfortunately was on injured reserve for the Chiefs' SB win in 2020, but he got a chance to play on the sport's biggest stage this past February, starting for the team during its 38-35 victory. He recorded a tackle for loss and a pass breakup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The 27-year-old's depature now opens up a key starting role on the defending champions' defense. Fortunately Kansas City has an obvious replacement waiting in the wings in 2022 second-round pick Bryan Cook.
