Chiefs Fans Will Love Todd McShay's Latest 2022 NFL Mock Draft

For the fourth straight year, the Kansas City Chiefs stood as one of just four teams remaining during Conference Championship Weekend. But, that playoff journey fell short of a third straight Super Bowl appearance and now Kansas City must prepare for the offseason.
The core, led by Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill on offense, remains the same and will keep this team in the Super Bowl conversation for years to come. If Kansas City can make savvy decisions in free agency and the upcoming NFL Draft, there's no doubt the Chiefs can win their second Super Bowl title in the past four years.
That's exactly why Chiefs fans will love Todd McShay's latest 2022 NFL Mock Draft.

Chiefs Mock Draft
McShay has the Chiefs taking Penn State Nittany Lions wide receiver Jahan Dotson with the No. 30 overall pick. The team is set to potentially lose Demarcus Robinson and Byron Pringle to free agency this offseason, leaving them shallow at the wide receiver position and continuing the trend of needing a true weapon alongside Hill and Travis Kelce.
Dotson could fit that bill perfectly. He may be the fastest player in this year's draft, and is fresh off a senior campaign in which he posted posted 1,182 yards and 12 touchdowns on 91 receptions.
It's a scary proposition of thinking about Patrick Mahomes throwing to a truly reliable third weapon, he hasn't had a receiver not named Hill or Kelce record more than 700+ yards in his career.
Pringle put together the best season of his NFL career last year, but still topped out at 568 yards and 42 receptions in 17 games. Mecole Hardman is one receiver under contract next year, but he also topped out at 693 yards and 59 receptions in a career year.
