After a relatively slow 2-3 start, the Kansas City Chiefs have rattled off 7 wins over their past 8 games and are looking like the same team that's appeared in the past two Super Bowls. A dominant win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 14 has caused the Chiefs to surge up to No. 4 in ESPN's NFL power rankings, and Chiefs fans are absolutely loving it.
Chiefs Power Rankings
Kansas City moved up five spots thanks to their dominant 48-9 victory over the Raiders on Sunday. Perhaps the most complete team effort performance of the year, Patrick Mahomes and the offense scored 5 touchdowns while allowing just 290 total yards on defense.
Don't look now, but the Chiefs also hold the No. 3 seed in the AFC playoff picture and appear to be getting hot at exactly the right time. Kansas City's 27.0 points per game on offense now ranks 9th in the NFL and the defense has allowed fewer than 301 yards of offense in seven of the past eight.
Kansas City remains one of the favorites to win Super Bowl LVI and holds the second-best odds (+550) on FanDuel Sportsbook, trailing only the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+500).
