The 2021 NFL season was bittersweet for the Kansas City Chiefs. Despite making it all the way to the AFC Championship Game, Chiefs fans were left disappointed when the Cincinnati Bengals prevented their team from making three consecutive Super Bowls.

Fortunately for Chiefs fans, the future is looking bright for their favorite franchise. FanDuel Sportsbook currently has Kansas City tied with the Buffalo Bills as the Super Bowl 57 favorite at +700 odds.

Chiefs Super Bowl Odds

It isn't a shock to see the Chiefs listed as co-favorites to win next season's championship. After all, they were only an overtime win away from defeating the Bengals to advance to Super Bowl 56.

Patrick Mahomes continued to prove why he's one of the best quarterbacks on the planet during the 2021 season. He finished with over 4,800 passing yards and 37 touchdown passes, showing that the Chiefs will always be competitive as long as he plays at that level.

Mahomes will also be dangerous as long as he has Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill at his disposal. Both offensive superstars had more than 1,000 receiving yards apiece. However, Kansas City will likely be looking for a tertiary pass-catching option this offseason.

One key to a potential Super Bowl run next season is for Kansas City's defense to show serious improvements. The Chiefs defense was the best in the league throughout the second half of the campaign, but completely fell apart in the playoffs.

The Chiefs have been one of the NFL's consistent contenders over the last several years and that likely won't change any time soon.
