As rumors swirl about wide receiver Sammy Watkins, the Kansas City Chiefs have been aggressive in pursing additions at wide receiver. With Watkins likely headed elsewhere, the team made an aggressive offer for Pittsburgh Steelers wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster, who ultimately re-signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

But the team could be looking for an in-house Watkins replacement, as the Chiefs are re-signing wide receiver DeMarcus Robinson.

Robinson has been a really solid contributor for the Chiefs. He's racked up at least 450 yards in back-to-back seasons, scoring 7 touchdowns in that time.

He's probably not going to become an every-down player anytime soon, but Robinson should be a really solid WR4 going forward for Kansas City.

This move doesn't preclude the Chiefs from adding more talent at the position in the NFL Draft or free agency, but Robinson is a nice player to keep in the WR rotation.
