For the first time since 2006, the Los Angeles Chargers will be entering the season without Philip Rivers under center. In fact, during his 14-year stretch as the team's starter, Rivers never missed a single regular season start. Taking the reins from him will be no small task.

In a stark contrast to Rivers' statuesque pocket presence, though, the odds to be the Chargers' Week 1 starter currently favor a pair of mobile quarterbacks, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Tyrod Taylor (-200) currently sits atop the odds, as he's the only option on this list (other than Easton Stick, at +2600), that's currently on the team.

Taylor hasn't exactly been bashful about his confidence going into the season, and if Los Angeles doesn't acquire a QB in free agency or the draft, it's safe to assume he'll be the starter in 2020. However, the odds suggest that Los Angeles could certainly be in the QB market this offseason, whether it's through free agency or the 2020 NFL Draft.

Cam Newton (+420) trails only Taylor in the odds, and he's ahead of a pair of rookie signal-callers, in Tua Tagovailoa and Justin Herbert, as both are tied at +700. Andy Dalton (+1100) and Jameis Winston (+1700) round out the rest of the top six in the odds.

While Taylor is a heavy favorite to be the team's Week 1 starter, the odds certainly suggest that Los Angeles could be adding another passer in the offseason.
