Chargers Receive Encouraging Injury Update on Key Receiver

The Los Angeles Chargers got a disappointing update earlier this week when they found out wideout Mike Williams would be missing the team's playoff game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a small fracture in his back, but Saturday's update brought a ray of light.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport is reporting that there is an outside chance Williams could play if Los Angeles beats Jacksonville and advances to the Divisional Round of the playoffs.

Williams has become a key piece of the Chargers' offense and a reliable target for quarterback Justin Herbert, especially down the field as a deep threat. Getting him back would add another element to the offense and make LA's passing attack even more dangerous.

Even without Williams, the Chargers are still 2.5-point road favorites against the Jaguars according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
