CBS Sports Predicts Nick Chubb to Do Something No Browns Player Has Done Since the 1960's

For the second straight offseason, expectations are high for the Cleveland Browns as they finally look to snap their long playoff drought. Doing so would require lots of their players to step up, and that obviously starts with quarterback Baker Mayfield.
CBS Sports predicts the Browns to make it back to the playoffs in 2020, and while they do like Mayfield to bounce back, it's their prediction for Nick Chubb that may excite fans most. They pick Chubb to lead the NFL in rushing — something no Browns player has done since Leroy Kelly in 1968.

After a strong rookie season in 2018, Chubb really broke out in 2019, turning 298 carries into 1,494 yards and 8 touchdowns on the ground.
He actually came mighty close to leading the NFL in rushing yards, and his 1,494 would have led the NFL in both the 2017 and 2018 seasons.
Chubb has now averaged at least 5.0 yards per carry in each of his first two NFL seasons, and now in 2020 he'll be rushing behind an improved offensive line that has added former All-Pro Jack Conklin.

The betting markets are also quite high on Chubb's chances of winning the Browns their first rushing title since the 60s. With +1000 odds to lead the league in rushing, on FanDuel Sportsbook, Chubb is tied for third in the NFL, trailing just Saquon Barkley (+950) and Derrick Henry (+750).
