With most of the NFL offseason behind us, fans and experts alike are turning their attention ahead to the 2020 season, making predictions for how the year will play out.

CBS Sports has unveiled some predictions of their own, and Jacksonville Jaguars fans aren't going to like this one. The Jags are being projected for an abysmal 2-14 record.

The Jaguars had plenty of struggles in 2019, for sure, but they also had some real bright spots. They put together a 6-6 record in the 12 games started by rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew, for example, and he posted some seriously impressive numbers.

Jacksonville also made big moves to shore up its defense in the draft, selecting two defensive players in the top 20 picks: cornerback C.J. Henderson and linebacker K'Lavon Chaisson. Those moves should go a long way to boost a unit that ranked just 29th in Football Outsiders' DVOA rankings in 2019.

That projection is also far below where the betting markets have the Jags. On FanDuel Sportsbook, their win total is set at 5.0. That's three full wins higher than this projection.

Jaguars fans are used to getting little respect from outside Jacksonville, but this projection has to leave them scratching their heads. With Minshew at the helm, the 2020 season is shaping up to be a fun one for the Jags.
