The Atlanta Falcons were dealt a surprise on Tuesday when veteran defensive tackle Eddie Goldman announced his NFL retirement. The retirement led to New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan taking a shot at the rival team, saying it only took "13 days on the Falcons" for Goldman "to make up his mind."

Unsurprisingly, Jordan's comments led to a Falcons fan trying to troll him by saying "Falcons living rent free," tweeting a picture that Atlanta is 54-52 all-time against New Orleans. Much to the fan's dismay, Jordan absolutely destroyed him with what he had to say next.

Jordan was clearly unimpressed by the fan including games before he donned a Saints jersey. The 33-year-old then set the record straight, saying that he's "14-8 against a dirty pigeon."

In the 22 career games he's played against the Falcons, Jordan has recorded 73 total tackles, 23 sacks for 118 yards loss and a forced fumble. In fact, 15 of those tackles have come in his last nine games against Atlanta, showcasing how he's been the one living rent-free in Falcons fans' heads.

Even though the Falcons hold the slight advantage in the all-time series, it's actually been the Saints who've won most of their recent meetings. New Orleans is 7-2 in its last nine games against Atlanta, outscoring its rivals 232-183 over that stretch.

This isn't even the first time Jordan has trolled the Falcons this offseason. He referred to himself as an upset "side piece" when Atlanta traded long-time quarterback Matt Ryan to the Indianapolis Colts. Clearly, he loves riling up the rival fanbase.

Saints vs Falcons Week 1 Odds

Jordan won't have to wait too long to see if he can continue his dominance over New Orleans' NFC South rivals. The Saints and Falcons will meet in Week 1 of the 2022 NFL season, where FanDuel Sportsbook is already listing New Orleans as the 5.5-point road favorite over Atlanta.
