Bulls vs Celtics Game Info

2022-23 NBA Regular Season Game
Chicago Bulls (5-4, 2-2 Away) vs. Boston Celtics (4-3, 2-1 Home)
Date: Friday, Nov. 4, 2022
Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
Venue: TD Garden — Boston, MA
Coverage: ESPN

The 2022-23 NBA season has 12 games planned for Friday, Nov. 4. One of the dozen is a matchup between the Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics. Momentum is on the Bulls' side after winning their second of back-to-back games with a 106-88 victory over the Charlotte Hornets.

Meanwhile, the Celtics hope to get back into the win column after a 114-113 overtime loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday. Boston shot poorly as a team, finishing with a 40.9% field-goal percentage while succeeding on just 26.8% of attempts from beyond the arc. In other words, a better shooting performance is needed tonight.

Bulls vs Celtics Odds & Spread

All NBA betting lines, odds and prop bets are from FanDuel Sportsbook.
Moneyline: CHI: (+240) | BOS: (-295)
Spread: CHI: +7 (-106) | BOS: -7 (-114)
Total: 223 —Over: (-110) | Under: (-110)

The Celtics enter this contest as clear home favorites on the moneyline and spread per FanDuel Sportsbook's odds. This 7:30 p.m. ET clash also features an over/under of 223 points, which is average compared to Friday's projected totals.

Bulls vs Celtics Prediction & Pick

This game marks the second time in less than two weeks that the Bulls and Celtics have faced off. Chicago managed to grab a 120-102 victory back on Oct. 24, outrebounding Boston 60-45 along the way. Andre Drummond had 12 rebounds for his Bulls, but the Celtics can breathe a sigh of relief because the veteran center has been ruled out of Friday's game due to injury.

The Bulls also have one of the worst three-point defenses in the NBA at the moment. That could spell good news considering how the Celtics rank No. 8 in three-point percentage (38.0%) while averaging a league-high 15.4 made threes per game.

With the Bulls also being 2-6 straight up in their last eight games at TD Garden, I like the Celtics' odds of getting back on track with a win on Friday. Chicago will press and challenge at times, but Boston has the healthier and more well-rounded matchup to get things done.

Final Score Prediction: Celtics: 115 | Bulls: 109

Bulls vs Celtics Betting Trends

- Chicago is 6-14 straight up in its last 20 road games against Boston.
- Boston is 1-5 against the spread (ATS) in its last six games against Chicago.
- The total has hit the under in 10 of Chicago's last 14 games.
- The total has hit the over in nine of Boston's last 11 home games played on Friday.

Bulls vs Celtics Best Bet

Even though I'm taking the Celtics to win, I expect a close matchup between two of the Eastern Conference's better teams. Besides, Chicago is 5-1 ATS in its last six games against Boston while three of the former's four losses this season have only been by five or fewer points.

Look for the Bulls to keep things close here, covering the 7-point spread.

Bet: Bulls +9 (-110)
