The 2021 NFL regular season has concluded and now Wild Card Weekend is here. One of the matchups slated to go down is an NFC clash between the Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

While anything can happen in the postseason, FanDuel Sportsbook is currently listing the Buccaneers as the huge favorite over the Eagles to open the week.

Eagles vs Buccaneers Wild Card Odds

As of Monday, Tampa Bay is an 8.5-point home favorite over the Eagles in their Wild Card meeting, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Both teams have -110 odds to cover the spread.

After going 4-11-1 in 2020, nobody really expected much from the Eagles this season. Fast forward to Philadelphia squeezing into this year's postseason with a 9-8 record. Anything else the Eagles achieve this season is just the icing on top of a surprisingly successful campaign.

Meanwhile, this is the Buccaneers' first stop on their quest to win back-to-back Super Bowls. Tampa Bay finished the season in a tie with the Green Bay Packers for the best record in the league (13-4), so a lot of people have high expectations for this team.

The Buccaneers and Eagles previously met in Week 6 of this season, which resulted in a 28-22 victory for Tampa Bay. Only time will tell if that outcome will be different this weekend.

FanDuel Sportsbook currently has the Buccaneers at +750 odds (No. 3) to win Super Bowl 56, while the Eagles sit at +5500 (T-No. 13).
