The new look Tampa Bay Buccaneers should bring a level of excitement to a franchise that has had very little to feel good about for the past decade. The dynamic duo of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski look to change the culture, turning around a franchise with the worst winning percentage in NFL history (.387).

However, the Bucs will be tested right away, facing Drew Brees and the tough New Orleans Saints in Week 1, in the opening week odds available on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Buccaneers vs Saints Spread 2020

While we are still months away from Week 1 in the NFL season, Week 1 features some good matchups, but few as notable as Brady vs Brees. Currently, the Buccaneers are the 4.5-point road underdogs, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Despite greatly improving their roster this offseason, it makes sense that Tampa would be underdogs to begin the season. With the possibility of less in-person prep time, as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, it could be tough for a brand new team to be in sync right out of the gate. On the other side, the Saints remain steady, with the Brees-led offense returning many of the same players.

Depending on how restricted offseason programs are, this first season of the revamped Buccaneers could be a disappointment to many. As of now, one would think the teams with a lot of turnover are at a supreme disadvantage.
