Buccaneers Get Great Rob Gronkowski Injury Update Ahead of Monday Night Football

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are desperate to stop a two-game losing streak when they host the New York Giants in Week 11's Monday Night Football contest. Fortunately, Tampa Bay looks to return one of the top receiving weapons in this offense.
Buccaneers insider Greg Auman reported that the team is optimistic that tight end Rob Gronkowski will be set to play in Monday's action.
Bucs wouldn't really say either way until inactives tonight around 6:55. All expectations after Saturday were Gronkowski and team optimistic about him playing and making a healthy return tonight. https://t.co/IV3wJSnZlY https://t.co/qaGCg6beyZ

Rob Gronkowski Injury Update
The veteran tight end hasn't seen the field in Week 8, a game that he saw only 10% of the offensive snaps. Gronk hadn't played since Week 3 prior to this brief return and continues to rehab from a ribs issue.
Brady and his longtime teammate got out to a ferocious start in 2021, tallying 4 TDs on 16 receptions and 184 receiving yards in just three weeks of action.
It's been a long journey back from this ribs injury, but the Buccaneers will hope Gronk's return can help stop this two-game losing slide. Tampa Bay sits at 6-3 on the year and a win can help them jump to the No. 3 seed in the NFC playoff picture.
Tampa Bay enters Week 11's MNF contest as massive 11-point home favorites, according to NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
