Broncos Get Great News on Melvin Gordon Status for Week 7

The Denver Broncos were forced to play without Melvin Gordon in Week 6. Despite avoiding any suspension from his DUI, an illness kept him out of the Broncos' win over the New England Patriots.
Broncos fans got great news on Wednesday, however, as Gordon was back at practice. That puts him on track to return for a Week 7 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Gordon's return will give the Broncos a full backfield for the first time since Week 1, when Phillip Lindsay went down with a toe injury.
Gordon has averaged 4.3 yards per carry (281 yards on 65 rushes) this season. Lindsay is only just behind him, averaging 4.2 with 125 yards on 30 carries. This one-two punch gives the Broncos a very dangerous backfield.
Even with their backfield at full-strength, FanDuel Sportsbook has the Broncos as heavy 9.5-point home underdogs against the defending Super Bowl champs.
