Coming off an upset win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 10, the Atlanta Falcons head into Sunday's matchup against the Carolina Panthers with a new lead back.

Brian Hill will be the team's featured back with Devonta Freeman ruled out and Ito Smith on injured reserve. With Hill seemingly the only healthy back for the Falcons, he immediately vaults into the RB2 conversation against a Carolina team that has given up the fourth most fantasy points to the RB position this season.

We saw a flash of what that could like look like in that upset win against the Saints last week. Hill rushed 20 times for 61 yards and added one catch for 10 yards and a touchdown while dominating the team's running back touches once Freeman sprained his foot. Now, he comes into Week 11 as the clear-cut starter for a team that ran the ball 34 times in Week 10.

On top of all of that, he steps into that role against a weak Carolina rush defense. Through their first 10 games of the season, the Panthers are allowing 136.7 rushing yards per game, 29th in the league. Over their last three contests, Carolina has allowed 172 rush yards per game, which ranks dead last in the NFL during that span.

Whether or not you think the Falcons can build off their second win of the season, Hill is clearly in a spot where he should see lots of volume against a bad rush defense. That's fantasy gold. So much so that Hill ranks as RB18 in our Week 11 fantasy football PPR rankings.
