Breeders' Cup Betting - 2022 Filly & Mare Sprint
1. Obligatory and Good Night Olive, Race 3
Good Night Olive (3/1) is the favorite and a top win contender with top jockey Irad Ortiz, Jr. riding for trainer Chad Brown. He's a pace presser who won the Grade 1 Ballerina Stakes last out in August with balanced speed and her best two efforts have come at this 7 furlong distance.
If you're looking for a bigger payout in exacta and trifecta wagering, then include Obligatory (8/1), who is a deep closer offering value with the fast pace potentially falling apart. He finished third behind Good Night Olive in the Ballerina at much lower odds and Jose Ortiz rides again for trainer Bill Mott. Ce Ce (4/1) finished a distant fifth as the favorite in the Ballerina.
Same for longshot closer Chain of Love (20/1), who is the only horse from Japan running in this year's Breeders' Cup. He's got a shot at a big price.
