It's been a busy offseason for the Atlanta Braves, who've seen significant departures and a few noteworthy additions. After all of that movement, Atlanta's 40-man roster stood just one player shy of being full.
Now that spot has been filled just days before the new year.

The Braves announced they re-signed veteran pitcher Jackson Stephens on Monday night. This deal will bring the 28-year-old back to Truist Park after he enjoyed a career year with the team in 2022.
Stephens hadn't made an MLB appearance since 2018 prior to his stint with Atlanta last season. He became a key part of the team's bullpen, however, logging a 3.69 ERA and 24 games finished while picking up a pair of saves.
The former 2012 draft pick will have to earn his spot since his contract is a non-guaranteed split deal. He'll earn a rate based on a $740,000 salary for any time spent in the majors, according to reporter Justin Toscano.
It remains to be seen if Stephens can crack the Opening Day roster.
