The Buffalo Bills have been plagued by injuries to begin the 2022 season. Buffalo's health appears to be turning a corner in Week 6, though, as the team prepares to welcome back several key contributors who have been sidelined recently.
Unfortunately, one player won't be able to join them on Sunday.
Wide receiver Jake Kumerow is slated on miss Buffalo's Week 6 clash with the Kansas City Chiefs due to ankle injury. He's been unable to practice over each of the last three days, leading him to his third straight inactive.
Though Kumerow will be missed, Friday's injury report provided plenty of good news. Defensive tackle Jordan Phillips is the only other player listed whose Week 6 status is up in the air, as he earned a questionable tag.
This means the likes of Tremaine Edmunds, Ed Oliver, Jordan Poyer, Isaiah McKenzie, Christian Benford and Dawson Knox are all on track to return in Week 6. That is a massive boost for both the offense and defense as this team prepares for what should be a shootout against the Chiefs.
The Bills geting closer to full strength should scare the rest of the league. This 4-1 squad has already been dominant, and now they're set to be even better with key players back on the field.
With fewer injury concerns than usual, Buffalo is slated as 2.5-point favorites over Kansas City, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
