Big Ten Tournament Prediction

The Big Ten may not be as lopsided at the top as the ACC Tournament, but I'm having a hard time picking against Purdue here.

The Boilermakers may not be at the top of the conference standings, but there's a reason they're ranked higher than Wisconsin and Illinois. They have an average score differential of +12.8 per game (No. 10 in the nation), which blows away Illinois' +8.8 (32nd) and Wisconsin's +4.7 (82).

The only Big Ten team with a better differential than Purdue is Iowa, who Purdue beat handily, 83-73, in their lone meeting this season.

Having clinched a top-four seed, Purdue also gets the crucial bye to the quarterfinals.

Purdue is one of the favorites to win the NCAA Tournament for a reason. Before they get there, though, look for them to cruise to a Big Ten Tournament win first.
