Best TE for Fantasy Football 2021

The tight end position is always an interesting one to approach in fantasy football. There are only about three top-tier options at the position, and with each team only needing to start one in default leagues, fantasy football managers will often race to lock up the top tight ends.

The Duel is here to help you figure out the position, with our top-20 tight ends from our 2021 fantasy football PPR rankings.

Fantasy Football Tight End Rankings

20. Gerald Everett, Seattle Seahawks

19. Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears

Cole Kmet is a really interesting deep sleeper option heading into his sophomore season. Rookie tight ends have historically produced poorly, so we don't need to be too concerned with his lack of fantasy output in 2020. He clearly impressed the coaching staff down the stretch, averaging 6.0 targets per game across his last five, which would have ranked top-12 at the position for the entire season.

18. Adam Trautman, New Orleans Saints

17. Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams

16. Rob Gronkowski, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

15. Robert Tonyan, Green Bay Packers

14. Evan Engram, New York Giants

13. Irv Smith Jr., Minnesota Vikings

12. Hunter Henry, New England Patriots

11. Logan Thomas, Washington Football Team

10. Mike Gesicki, Miami Dolphins

9. Jonnu Smith, New England Patriots

8. Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles

7. Noah Fant, Denver Broncos

6. Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens

5. T.J. Hockenson, Detroit Lions

4. Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons

3. George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers

George Kittle and Darren Waller are competing for the TE2 spot this year. Kittle's struggles to stay healthy (only played eight games in 2020) and the competition he'll have for targets in the San Francisco 49ers' offense makes him a little harder to trust in 2021.

2. Darren Waller, Las Vegas Raiders

1. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs

Travis Kelce is clearly the top tight end for 2021 fantasy football. He was the top fantasy scorer at the position in 2020. He was the top scorer at the position in 2019. He was the top scorer at the position in 2018. He was the top scorer at the position in 2017. He was the top scorer at the position in 2016. Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs' offense look as good as ever, and there's no reason to believe that this is the year Kelce falls off.
