The 2021 NBA season is in full swing. Friday's basketball action features a primetime matchup between the New Orleans Pelicans and Golden State Warriors.

Here's three of the best prop bets for Pelicans-Warriors, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Pelicans vs Warriors Best Prop Bets

1. Andrew Wiggins - Made Threes: Over 1.5 (-140)

It's safe to say that Andrew Wiggins' time in Golden State has not been amazing. However, he has proven capable of hitting the over on this prop. Wiggins has shot 6-for-11 from beyond the arc over his last two games and has hit the over on this prop five different times this season. The former Kansas standout is playing nearly 30 minutes per game and the Pelicans have allowed the fifth-highest opponent three point percentage of any team in the NBA (38.0%). Golden State loves to play fast and everything lines up for Wiggins to cash this prop rather easily.

2. Jordan Poole - Points: Over 17.5 (-106)

The Golden State Warriors have needed a trusted scorer to pair with Stephen Curry while Klay Thompson continues to work his way back from an injury. Jordan Poole has taken over that role so far this season. The third-year pro just scored a career-high 31 points against the Charlotte Hornets and has posted an impressive 43.0% field goal percentage through 7 games played. Keep in mind that the Pelicans rank dead last in defensive efficiency and the Warriors play at the third-fastest pace in the NBA. Sloppy defense combined with a ton of possessions makes targeting this prop bet a smart move.

3. First Half Spread: New Orleans Pelicans +5.5 (-110)

The Pelicans may head into Friday night as 9-point road underdogs, but backing them to cover in the first half is not a bad idea. The Pelicans are 5-4 against the spread (ATS) in the first half this season, which includes a 3-1 mark on the road. Meanwhile, the Warriors have struggled to put teams away early on and are just 2-5 ATS in the first half. Golden State has yet to cover a first half spread in the Chase Center and may have their hands full once again. It's tough to see this squad keeping the score within single digits at the end of the game, but bettors can trust Jonas Valanciunas and Nickeil Alexander-Walker to keep this one close in the beginning.
