The Cleveland Cavaliers will take on the Brooklyn Nets with a berth to the NBA Playoffs on the line. The winner will secure the seventh seed while the loser will have to defeat the winner of the No. 9 vs No. 10 matchup to wrap up the No. 8 seed in the East.
With big-name stars like Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and Darius Garland hitting the floor tonight, let's take a look at the three best prop bets for this matchup, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.
Cavaliers vs Nets Player Prop Bets
3. Kyrie Irving – Points: Under 28.5 (-110)
After a superhuman start to his 2021-22 campaign, Kyrie Irving has come down to earth a bit. He's shooting 43.3% from the field while averaging 26.9 PPG over his last 10 games. That's uncharacteristically inefficient for the crafty point guard, as Irving hasn't shot below 46.9% from the field since the 2015-16 season (44.8%). Irving has also gone under this total in both of his appearances against Cleveland this season. Throw in the fact that Kyrie is coming off an 18-point showing on 7-of-22 shooting against the Cavs last Friday, and the superstar looks likely to go under this lofty total.
2. Evan Mobley – Points + Rebounds: Over 25.5 (-120)
Evan Mobley is a special talent – he's about to make a lot of new fans now that he's playing on the biggest stage of his career. With Jarret Allen officially out tonight, Mobley will be Cleveland's go-to big man against Brooklyn. He should be looking at an uptick in both points and rebounds against a Nets team that plays at a top-12 pace. After narrowly missing this total on Friday (24 combined points & rebounds), look for the dynamic 7-footer to stuff the stat sheet Tuesday night.
1. Kevin Durant – Points: Over 32.5 (-104)
In what's essentially a must-win game for Brooklyn, look for Kevin Durant to put on his cape and carry the Nets to a win. He's eclipsed this total in four of his last seven appearances, averaging a stellar 32.6 PPG during that stretch. Durant also takes it up a notch in the postseason. He scored at least 32 points in six of his 12 playoff appearances for the Nets last year, averaging 34.3 PPG. Coming off a 36-point performance against Cleveland last Friday, look for Durant to will the Nets into the seventh seed.
