3 Best Prop Bets for 76ers vs Heat NBA Playoffs Game 5 on FanDuel Sportsbook (May 10)
Tuesday's NBA slate of Playoff games includes an exciting Game 5 showdown between the Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat. FanDuel Sportsbook is currently listing the Heat as the 2.5-point home favorites over the 76ers.
Here's three of the best prop bets for the 76ers-Heat game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.
76ers vs Heat Player Props
1. Jimmy Butler - Points + Rebounds + Assists: Over 39.5 (-108)
Jimmy Butler has stepped up when it matters the most for the Heat this postseason. He has been picking apart the 76ers when the ball is in his hands and has posted at least 40 points, rebounds and assists in each of his last three games. Butler has also attempted at least 20 shots in each of the last two games and has gotten to the line 23 times during that span. It's clear he is not afraid drive to the rim and will also be asked to facilitate without point guard Kyle Lowry available to play. Look for Butler to fill up the stat sheet again.
2. Joel Embiid - Points: Over 25.5 (-116)
The performance Joel Embiid put together in Game 4 Sunday night was unconventional to say the least. He poured in 24 points despite only attempting 13 field goals. That is because he also earned 13 trips to the free throw line. His conditioning is continuing to improve following his return from a concussion, which makes it likely he will rack up more than 13 FGA in this one. Keep in mind Embiid could have some extra motivation after Nikola Jokic was named the 2021-22 NBA MVP on Monday. Balling out with a 30-point performance would surely be one way to say hello to his doubters.
3. Tyler Herro - Assists: Under 3.5 (-138)
Tyler Herro has been asked to play the role of a shot creator throughout the course of this series and has only logged more than 3 assists once when he had 7 back in Game 1. He has only tallied 5 assists in his last three games combined and is not handling the ball at the top of the key like he had been in the regular season. The 76ers have adjusted to Herro's style of play by forcing him to take contested threes and trapping him out by the perimeter. It's giving him less opportunities to find his open teammates, so keep backing the under until Herro provides a reason not to.
