You're probably still alive in your NFL survivor pool. We've had a pretty chalky start to the 2021 NFL season as far as big favorites winning (unless you took the Buffalo Bills in Week 1). Of course, we have Justin Tucker to thank for a big chunk of players not getting eliminated in last week's Baltimore Ravens-Detroit Lions showdown.
If you're still alive, here are The Duel's top NFL Survivor Pool picks for Week 4.
NFL Survivor Week 4 Picks
3. Cincinnati Bengals (vs JAX)
There's always some additional uncertainty on Thursday Night Football, but fading Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars seems like a wise move at this point. Lawrence's 7 interceptions have helped the Jags to an 0-3 start, and things don't promise to get any easier for him in Week 4. The Cincinnati Bengals' defense has quietly looked like one of the league's best to start the year, receiving a top-10 grade from Pro Football Focus. It's too early to worry about Lawrence as a prospect, but don't count on him bouncing back this week.
2. New Orleans Saints (vs NYG)
The New Orleans Saints' Week 2 loss to the Carolina Panthers is still a little concerning, but their domination of the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots was certainly encouraging. PFF has them as the NFL's ninth highest graded team overall, while the New York Giants sit in the middle of the pack. Returning home, the Saints are 7.5-point favorites (second-biggest of the week from FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds), and they'll likely be a bit of a contrarian pick during a week in which most people will be on the next team.
1. Buffalo Bills (vs HOU)
It might feel wasteful to take the Buffalo Bills in Week 4 when they still have two games against the New York Jets on tap, but it's also not often you see a team favored by this much. The Bills are 16.5-point home favorites with a whopping -1500 moneyline, and there will probably only be a couple times all season we see any team favored by this much. You don't need to overthink this one.
