The Indianapolis Colts fired head coach Frank Reich earlier this season and bizarrely replaced him with Jeff Saturday, who had no previous coaching experience. Not surprisingly, that experiment was doomed from the start and immediately flopped.

Now, the Colts are in the midst of a wide-ranging coaching search to find their next leading man, and the next interview up is Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan.

Callahan has been Cincinnati's offensive coordinator for the past four seasons, and for the past two years has led the Bengals to having the seventh-best offense in the NFL. Sure, having Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Joe Mixon helps, but it's clear that Callahan is well-regarded in NFL circles.

Cincinnati is still in the playoffs, however, so Indianapolis will have to work around his busy schedule as he tries to help the Bengals get back to the Super Bowl.
