The Cincinnati Bengals have been awaiting the return of superstar wideout Ja'Marr Chase since he suffered a hip injury in Week 7. Quarterback Joe Burrow hinted at the potential return of Chase in Week 12, but ultimately the team decided to keep him out.
Ja'Marr Chase Injury Update
The good news is that it appears the Bengals will be getting Chase back on the field in Week 13. Ian Rapoport is reporting that while Chase was close to playing in Week 12, Cincinnati decided to be cautious and give him another week of recovery. The plan right now is for him to play in Week 13.
While it would have been great to have Chase on the field in Week 12, it's tough to blame the Bengals for taking the more cautious route with one of their franchise cornerstones. Plus, the Bengals won their third straight game without him.
Now Cincy heads into Week 13 with a 7-4 record and right in the hunt for the AFC North title, sitting behind the Baltimore Ravens based on a tiebreaker, and they will presumably have their most dangerous offensive weapon suiting up again for the rest of the season.
The Bengals are currently 2,5-point home underdogs in Week 13 against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
