Bears Receive Good News on Justin Fields Injury Update

Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields threw just 11 passes before exiting Week 11's clash with the Baltimore Ravens in obvious pain. The fear was a potentially severe ribs injury, but it appears the Bears avoided a worst-case scenario.
Fields underwent x-rays following the game and those x-rays came back negative, indicating no broken ribs for the rookie QB.

Justin Fields Injury Update
Fields is set to undergo more tests on Monday to reveal the exact nature of his injury.
It hasn't been the easiest of rookie seasons for the quarterback, but Chicago's young signal-caller seemed to be finding his footing as of late. Fields enjoyed two of his best performances from Weeks 8-9, completing nearly 65% of his passes for 466 yards and a pair of TDs.
The Bears prepare for a short week as they'll play on Thanksgiving Day against the Detroit Lions. Chicago has a good chance to snap a five-game losing streak and enters Week 12 as 3.5-point road favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook.
