The Baltimore Ravens were last season's best regular season team, finishing with a 14-2 record. After struggling to stop the run during the season, they were met with the worst possible matchup in the playoffs, resulting in an early exit. They have addressed their run defense and brought essentially everyone else back, creating some really tough training camp decisions.

While they are not likely to cut many experienced players, since they are wanting to run it back again this year, we will make a case for if they decide to let a couple experienced players go. These are three veterans the Ravens could cut during training camp.

By no means are the Ravens a prolific passing team, but they are building up some solid receiving weapons. Chris Moore is now likely the fifth wide receiver on the depth chart, with return specialist De'Anthony Thomas and a couple rookies behind him. Moore could have a tough time making the team, if the Ravens decide to keep six receivers.

2. Andre Smith, OT

The biggest question marks on the entire Ravens roster are on the offensive line, after Marshal Yanda retired. Andre Smith is a veteran that has been around, but it's unclear if he can even contribute. The 33-year-old enters training camp as the backup, and he could be released if young guys shine.

3. Justice Hill, RB

The Ravens have zero unaccounted for carries from last season, but they spent a high draft pick to add J.K. Dobbins to the already crowded backfield. While the Ravens will likely keep and use four running backs, it would typically make sense to release the fourth guy, who without a doubt is Justice Hill. The second-year back totaled just 225 rushing yards last season, but he also saw just 58 carries. A trade would make the most sense, but if they can't find a buyer then releasing him to keep a player at a greater position of need would be the smart move.
