EA Sports has been the sole NFL simulation video game developer for roughly the past 15 years. And every year fans await the highly anticipated release day of the game, that has been dubbed "Maddenoliday."
While millions love the game, EA has received its fair share of criticism over the years, including for their cover art, which a lot of people believe lacks creativity. And the 2022 iteration didn't exactly do much to change that perception.
This has caused fans and photoshop experts to have fun creating their own covers for fun. And the one created featuring Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield came out looking awesome.
Seeing what your favorite player or star quarterback might have looked like on the cover of this year's Madden is always fun, but it would be nice if EA opened up their design process to the fans, who almost every year collectively do a better job than the developer does.
