It must be tough to be a Cincinnati Bengals fan. Lately, the only thing they have had to look forward to during the NFL season is fantasy football. But with the recent injury to A.J. Green, even fantasy can put a bitter taste in their mouths.

The Bengals do not offer much for fantasy relevance besides, of course, starting running back Joe Mixon.

During Bengals camp this week, star wide receiver Green went down with an ankle injury. Initially thought to be an ankle sprain, the diagnosis was torn ligaments in the ankle, causing him to likely be sidelined until somewhere between Week 1 and Week 4. This has caused his ADP to drop, but he's still a risky investment due to his troubling injury history.

Fellow wide receiver Tyler Boyd rises in stock, and he did finish as WR16 last season, but with Andy Dalton at the helm, it's tough to trust him as well.

Instead, fantasy owners should look to Mixon, who happens to be one of the most talented players in the NFL. He finished last season as RB9 in only 14 games. Mixon finished fourth in the league in rushing yards (1,168), and also totaled the second-most breakaway runs last season (20), making him one of the most dangerous players in the NFL.

He is currently being drafted at RB9 (12th overall), according to FantasyPros' ADP rankings. Mixon should get the ball early and often in the 2019 season, but from a fantasy perspective, it's tough to trust any other member of the Bengals.
