Astros Fans Will Love Latest MLB.com Power Rankings

After a bit of an up-and-down start to their 2021 MLB season, the Houston Astros have been heating up as of late. They just finished up a 10-game homestand, going 8-2 in the process which has improved their overall record to 24-17 on the campaign. They're also just half a game back of the Oakland Athletics for the AL West lead.
Fortunately for Astros fans, their team is getting a lot of love after their homestand. MLB.com has ranked them at No. 4 in their latest power rankings, which is up six spots after coming in 10th last week.
Another week, another new No. 1 team ?

Astros News: Fans Will Love Latest Power Rankings
Another thing that Astros fans can be pumped up about is how the rival Athletics only placed 9th in this week's power rankings. Considering how the two teams will start a three-game series on Tuesday, Houston could walk away from the meeting as the AL West leaders.
If any team has the ability to skyrocket up the MLB standings and power rankings, it's the Astros. They have one of the most potent offenses in the league, averaging 5.27 runs per game in 2021 (2nd). It shouldn't be a surprise, though. Houston has four batters with 20 or more RBIs, with another three players recording at least 15+. One of the biggest contributors in this area is third baseman Yuli Gurriel, who owns 7 HR and 31 RBI's.
The Astros currently have the 7th-best odds to win the World Series at +1700, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. As long as they can continue scoring at such a high level, it's hard to imagine many teams being able to keep up with the Astros.
