As play began on Thursday in the women's singles draw at Wimbledon, top-seeded Ashleigh Barty remained atop the odds to win the WTA Tour's third Grand Slam of 2019, with +360, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

However, it's 15-year-old Cori "Coco" Gauff who's stealing all the headlines. The American phenom now sits at +1800 after advancing into the third round.

Barty opened as the favorite and has seen her odds to win improve ever-so slightly from +440 to +360. In the third round, she will be face Harriet Dart, of Great Britain.

Karolina Pliskova has risen to the second-best odds, at +390, leapfrogging Serena Williams who went from +700 before to tournament to +750 heading into the third round.

But, without a doubt, the best story of the 2019 Wimbledon has been Gauff. She had the daunting task of facing Venus Williams in the first round, but came away with a straight-set win, and did the same in the second round. Her third-round match, scheduled for Friday, July 5, at 12:30 p.m. EST should be must-see TV, and the odds to win the tournament are surely to shift again following that match.
