Despite entering the contest as underdogs by nearly a touchdown, the Atlanta Falcons walked out of Mercedes-Benz Stadium with a convincing 28-14 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 6.

Atlanta was actually out-gained in the contest, but they controlled the time of possession, dominated the line of scrimmage and forced three 49ers turnovers while holding onto the ball themselves. It was a total team effort, but head coach Arthur Smith was especially thrilled with the play of his offensive line.

In fact, he treated them to one epic celebration after the win.

With his o-line still in full uniform, Smith brought over some beers for a little celebration chug.

The o-line was brilliant. San Francisco entered this contest with one of the most intimidating front sevens in football, ranking second in rushing yards allowed (87.5 per game), second in sacks (23), and top 10 in QB knockdowns.

Despite those metrics, the Falcons put up 168 yards on the ground and Marcus Mariota was only sacked twice in the contest. Those 168 yards are the most rushing yards San Francisco allowed in any game during the 2022 season.

Atlanta moved to 3-3 on the season and prepare for a Week 7 road tilt against the Cincinnati Bengals. As is stands, FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds show the Falcons as 6.5-point road underdogs.
