The Los Angeles Angels have been without the game's biggest superstar in Mike Trout since May 18. While the team is 16-12 in his absence, there's no question that the Angels are eager to get the three-time MVP and eight-time All-Star back in the lineup as quickly as possible.
Trout appeared on the Angels' YouTube broadcast during yesterday's 7-5 win over the Detroit Tigers and revealed some promising news. According to Trout, he's expecting to begin baseball activities in the following days after a month on the shelf with a calf injury.

Los Angeles ins't expecting Trout to fully make his return to the field until the All-Star break, but regardless, this is a bit of promising news that Angels fans will love.
The 29-year-old center fielder is a bonafide superstar, slashing .333/.466/.624 with 8 home runs and 18 RBIs before landing on the IL. In his 11-year MLB career, Trout averages a slashing line of .305/.419/.583 with 39 home runs, 103 RBIs, 26 stolen bases and Gold Glove-caliber defense manning center field.
