Andrew Booth Jr. Had Badass Response When Asked About Injury Concerns

Former Clemson cornerback Andrew Booth Jr. was projected to be a first-round selection at the 2022 NFL Draft. Instead, his name was never called on Day 1, leading to him waiting until pick No. 42 for the Minnesota Vikings to finally make his NFL dreams come true.
One of the reasons that Booth fell was likely due to health concerns after undergoing hernia surgery in April 2021 and another this past March. The 21-year-old was asked about those injury concerns after he was drafted, resulting in a pretty badass response from the rookie.

Booth told reporters "I haven't played healthy football since like high school," showing he's more than willing to contribute even when banged up. Vikings fans will also rejoice because the promising cornerback plans on being ready for the team's upcoming minicamp.
"In a couple more weeks, at minicamp, I'll be ready to go. And I feel great."

The Vikings were bottom 10 in both completions and passing yards allowed last season. Drafting Booth to improve the secondary was a no-brainer, especially after he recorded nine broken-up passes and five interceptions over his final two seasons at Clemson.
If injuries don't wind up being a concern, the Vikings could have a certified steal on their hands with Booth. Minnesota has missed the playoffs in three of the last four seasons, so the hope is that Booth — along with 32nd overall pick and safety Lewis Cine — will play a major role in getting the organization back to the postseason.
The Vikings still have work to do on their road to a playoff return. FanDuel Sportsbook is currently favoring them to miss the 2022-23 postseason at -126 odds.
