Amari Cooper has been nursing both ankle and quad injuries lately, and he barely played in Week 6's loss to the New York Jets. He's missed most of the Dallas Cowboys' practices this week, but reports from Sunday morning are claiming that he is expected to suit up for Sunday night's matchup with NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles.

Cooper made it through only three snaps last week, but his workload had been steadily climbing before that. From his nadir of five targets in Week 2, his volume had climbed in each game, seeing seven, eight and 14 targets in his last three contests, respectively. He even managed two targets on those three snaps against the Jets.

Even if he's playing hurt tonight, we can expect him to play a significant role in the Dallas passing game, and a matchup with the Eagles should also give him little trouble turning that volume into production.

Philly ranks a middling 19th in Football Outsiders' pass defense DVOA rankings, and the Eagles have allowed the NFL's most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts in 2019.

Cooper's return is a slight downgrade for Michael Gallup's fantasy value, but Gallup's still been incredibly valuable when both wideouts are active. Suiting up in such a terrific matchup, Cooper sits at WR5 in our Week 7 PPR fantasy football rankings.
