With D'Andre Swift out again due to a lingering concussion, the Detroit Lions turned to Adrian Peterson to shoulder the load on the ground against the Houston Texans. AP delivered with 15 carries for 55 yards and 2 touchdowns on Thanksgiving.

Peterson's touchdown feast has placed him in a tie with Arizona Cardinals great Larry Fitzgerald for 12th all-time in career TDs. Both players have amassed 120 touchdowns in their careers so far.

Being in the top 15 for all-time career TDs is an incredible feat, and it's especially impressive since both players are still active.

Peterson rose to fame with the Minnesota Vikings, earning his All Day nickname as a workhorse back for Minnesota. He ran for 97 touchdowns with the Vikings and added five as a receiver. Peterson took home the NFL MVP award in 2012.

AP has been a journeyman following his exit from Minnesota after the 2016 season. He split the 2017 season with the Cardinals and New Orleans Saints before spending two years with the Washington Football Team. Peterson signed with the Lions this offseason on a one-year deal. While he failed to earn the starting gig outright, he has been leaned upon in Swift's absence.

The Lions have struggled this season, but at least Peterson is proving to be a dependable presence.
