Adam Thielen Injury Update Boosts K.J. Osborn Fantasy Outlook Ahead of Thursday Night Football in Week 14

After missing most of Week 13 with an ankle injury, Adam Thielen fantasy managers got even worse news on Wednesday when he was ruled out of Week 14 action.
Thielen currently stands at WR13 across the NFL and his absence has huge fantasy implications.

Aside from scrambling to make sure Thielen is no longer in the starting lineups, fantasy managers will look for replacement value. One option is Minnesota's No. 3 wideout, K.J. Osborn.
K.J. Osborn Fantasy Outlook
Osborn ended up playing a season-high 92% of the offensive snaps in Week 13, and he finished as the WR21 in PPR scoring. The second-year wideout hauled in 4-of-7 targets for 47 yards and one touchdown.
Thursday night's matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers is rather enticing as the Steelers give up the 10th-most PPR points to opposing wideouts and rank just 25th in Football Outsiders' pass-defense DVOA metric.
There's certainly volume up for grabs considering Thielen's 92 targets account for 21% of Minnesota's target share.
Osborn obviously isn't a perfect replacement for Thielen managers, but he's only rostered in 31% of Yahoo fantasy leagues and projects with decent FLEX value in Week 14. He checks in at WR31 in The Duel's Week 14 PPR rankings.
