What decision Aaron Rodgers or the Green Bay Packers will make about the future Hall of Fame quarterback's playing future is perhaps the biggest storyline of the upcoming NFL offseason.

The saga could end one of three ways. First and probably most likely, Rodgers returns to Green Bay and plays for the Packers next season, but he could also be traded to another team if he no longer wishes to play for the Packers, or he could retire altogether.

On his latest appearance on the Pat McAfee show, Rodgers added some fuel to the fire for the latter two options, especially the retired one.

Rodgers said "I'd love to finish there. And I might have finished there. Who knows?" That certainly seems like a guy who is still strongly considering retirement.

I suppose it could also be considered that he meant he might just be done playing in Green Bay, but it seems like it's more on the retirment side of things. We did a similar song and dance with Rodgers last offseason, and it ended up with him signing a new contract in Green Bay that provided more freedom on a year-to-year basis.

It's doubtful that we will get a final decision from Rodgers anytime soon, but it does prove that he is still considering every option on the table for him.
