A.J. Green Fantasy Outlook Improves Following Injury Update
By Zach Brunner | Oct 28 2019

There has not been much to like about the Cincinnati Bengals in quite a while, but wide receiver A.J. Green has long been viewed as one of the lone bright spots on the team. The star wideout has yet to take the field this season due to a foot ailment, but Green's latest injury update suggests he's nearing a return.
AJ Green says he’s hopeful he’ll make his return after the bye, & sounded confident he’ll be able to do so. Said he just has to make sure his ankle can do everything he wants & make sure the injury won’t linger.

In fact, it looks like Green could return as soon as Week 10, as the Bengals are on bye this week.
Cincinnati has also been pretty adamant that Green is not available for a trade, so he will likely continue to catch passes from Andy Dalton following his return.

Despite returning to a winless team, he would be featured on an offense that can move the ball through the air. Cincinnati averages 257.8 passing yards per game (No. 12 in the NFL), and can surround Green with other talented pass-catchers, like Tyler Boyd and Auden Tate.
Green missed seven games last season and eight so far this year. However, he is still one of the league's best when on the field. He averaged 85.9 yards per game last season, catching 45 passes for 687 receiving yards and six TDs across eight healthy games.
When he returns, Green is best viewed as a WR2 with an extremely high ceiling.
