In an absolute desert of chalk, there is one remaining oasis of actual madness in the South Region of the NCAA Tournament, as the No. 13-seed UC Irvine Anteaters take on the No. 12-seed Oregon Ducks.

Oregon is a 5-point favorite on FanDuel Sportsbook, but let's see which team the experts think will be playing again next week in the Sweet 16.

Oregon vs UC Irvine Predictions

Sports Chat Place

Sports Chat Place likes the red-hot Oregon Ducks to win and cover the spread against UC Irvine. They believe the Anteaters are just a bit out of their element against a team like Oregon, and the Ducks have been on a tear down the stretch.

College Football News

Pete Fiutak, of College Football News, firmly believes in Oregon to both win and cover, 72-65. Oregon's defensive pressure and quickness should be too much for the Anteaters, and they don't shoot well enough from deep to make a late comeback.

Scores & Stats

Scores & Stats has the Ducks coming out on top, 67-64, but also has the Anteaters covering the spread. In a battle between double-digit seeds, they believe it'll be a close game, but Oregon's defense ultimately leads the Ducks to the win.

ESPN Basketball Power Index Matchup Predictor

ESPN's BPI doesn't think this will be as close as the seeds indicate, giving Oregon a 72 percent chance to win this one.

Overall, all four expert predictions are taking Oregon to win straight up, and two of the three expert spread picks are going with the Ducks to cover.
