Taylor Rapp Draft Predictions
The San Fransisco 49ers reportedly pursued Earl Thomas this offseason, but he ended up signing with the Baltimore Ravens. The 49ers might look to add a safety in the NFL Draft, and Rapp could be an excellent fit. San Fransisco improved its secondary by signing Richard Sherman last offseason, but it could certainly use more youth in the defensive backfield.
The Green Bay Packers added Adrian Amos at safety this offseason, but more depth at the position could be the team's move here. The Packers' other starter, Tramon Williams, just turned 36 years old this month, and he didn't tally a single interception or sack last season. Pairing Rapp with Amos would give the Packers an excellent young duo at safety for the foreseeable future.
