Sunday marks the final day of Big Ten regular season play as the Iowa Hawkeyes (21-9, 10-9 Big Ten) look to secure the No. 5 seed in the Big Ten Tournament with a win over the Nebraska Cornhuskers (15-15, 5-14 Big Ten). The Cornhuskers are currently 2.5-point home favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

So, let's see what some experts from around the industry are saying about this Big Ten showdown.

Iowa vs Nebraska Predictions

Tony's Picks

The Tony's Picks staff are rolling with the Cornhuskers to win this one straight up (SU) and cover up to a 2.5-point spread doing it. They attribute much of their pick to the rapidly-declining recent play from the Hawkeyes, who have lost three in a row overall and two straight on the road.

Sports Chat Place

Brett Nault, of Sports Chat Place, is also predicting Nebraska to win and cover by as many as two points as the home favorite. Nault believes Nebraska's stout scoring defense is simply too much for the Hawkeyes, especially given Iowa's offensive struggles on the road this season.

Scores & Stats

The staff from Scores & Stats is rolling with the Cornhuskers to win SU with a 2-point cover against the Hawkeyes. Similar to Brett Nault, they point to Iowa's recent offensive struggles in averaging just 62.3 points per game (PPG) over its last three contests compared to the Hawkeyes' season-long 78.6 PPG.

ESPN BPI Calculator

ESPN's BPI projection calculator also favors the Cornhuskers to win SU, giving Nebraska a 66.1 percent shot to close out the regular season with a win.

Overall, all four of our highlighted expert predictions think Nebraska will win this game straight up, and all three spread predictions are calling for Nebraska to cover up to a 2-point spread as the favorites.
