This year's NBA trade deadline saw a number of contenders make bold moves. And those moves have not only changed the potential landscape of both conferences, but also many teams' odds to win this year's NBA Finals.

The biggest winners here are Charlotte Hornets, Utah Jazz, Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers and the defending champion Golden State Warriors, but the only that really matter are the Bucks, Sixers and Warriors.

The Bucks, who quietly have the best record in NBA, saw their odds improve from +1400 to +1200. The addition of Nikola Mirotic to play alongside MVP-candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo should improve the team's already-potent offense. Mirotic is shooting 36.8 percent from 3-point range this season, while scoring 16.7 points and grabbing a career-high 8.3 rebounds per game.

The 76ers were the furthest thing from quiet this trade deadline, making multiple deals including the acquisition of Tobias Harris. That move did just enough to shift their odds to win the NBA championship from +1400 to +1200. Philadelphia remaining such a long shot speaks to oddsmakers' doubts that any Eastern Conference team will win the championship, considering they are tied with Milwaukee and Boston for the second best odds to win the East.

The Warriors remained radio silent at the deadline, and with good reason. In the eight games since free-agent acquisition DeMarcus Cousins returned to the lineup, they have rattled off seven wins and their odds to defend their title improved ever-so slightly from -195 to -210.

But, of course, there are losers as the trade deadline as well.

And the one here that stands out like a sore thumb is the Los Angeles Lakers. It's hard to say that any team had a worse trade deadline than the Lakers. The storied franchise's odds nearly doubled, going from +2300 to +5000, because not only did they fail to acquire Anthony Davis from New Orleans, but in the process they alienated a number of their current players, who were mentioned in those trade rumors. These two failures largely overshadowed the nice acquisition of Reggie Bullock.

The aggressive win-now trades many Eastern Conference contenders made clearly had the biggest affect on these odds. But alas, the Warriors are still the one-and-only team with minus-odds, making them the clear-cut favorite to win it all again this season.
