Zion Williamson electrified Madison Square Garden with some amazing dunk highlights, but it was what he said in an interview after the game that really had Knicks fans excited.

Despite fouling out in the Bule Devils' win over previously-undefeated Texas Tech, Williamson was the biggest story after the game, saying he would be happy to play for the Knicks if he was drafted by them.

Here's is the Zion Williamson interview.

While the interview (and quick joke before his real answer) had New York buzzing on Friday morning, Williamson's dunks during Duke's win really impressed everyone.

Williamson is considered a Top 5 pick in the NBA draft and the Knicks are one of the worst teams in the NBA, competing for a top pick more than a playoff spot.

With Kristaps Porzingis possibly sitting out the rest of the year, the Knicks could wind up with the worst record in the league, and the best odds at landing the top pick.

Where is Zion Williamson from? He is originally from North Carolina and played his high school ball at Spartanburg Day School in South Carolina, so there's no real connection to New York there. But he's fast becoming one of the most recognized players in college basketball and we all know New York loves its stars.

Zion Williamson could wind up being the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft by the Knicks in the spring. Until then, this performance at MSG will have to do.
