The Toronto Raptors are enforcing their usual regular-season dominance on the NBA, off to a league-best 23-7 record so far. What's most impressive about their streak, though, is that they've done a large chunk of it without their star player Kawhi Leonard.

7-1, that's how the Raptors have fared without Kawhi -- with him, they are 16-6, a winning percentage of 72.7.

Perhaps the most stunning number that we should take note of is the Raptors' 6-0 record on the back-end of back-to-backs, winning those games by an NBA-high 18.2-point average margin of victory in that scenario. Not to mention, five of those games on zero days' rest are without Kawhi, including the 20-point dismantling of the defending champion Golden State Warriors in Oakland last night.

Even with new head coach Nick Nurse, the Raptors haven't skipped a beat. In fact, it looks like they've gotten better. Look for these guys to continue playing exceptional basketball, and finally break through that nagging conference championship series that has prevented them from going to the NBA Finals.
